Genesis

Kendriya Vidyalaya Tumkur has started working in 1997 for Classes I to V in a temporary building. Later on in the year 2011 the school has been shifted to its own newly constructed building.

New building of Vidyalaya is situated on Madhugiri road, Tumkur. Vidyalaya is about 8 KM from Tumkur Bus Stand. It is 3 section school upto class X.
